Lots and lots of stuff on yesterday (comics-wise)... Firstly, yes, it was International Comic Book Day. But here in Melbourne (in a convenient one-block city radius no less), We had 1) All Star Comics having their bumper free comic give-away with lines stretching around the corner 2) Artist Alley around the corner had Australia's premier comics creators signing and sketching for fans and kids (and some overlap), 3) Melbourne Comics Quarterly launched their issue#4 at Bartronica across the lane from Artist Alley, 4) The monthly comics meetup was held next door to Bartronica!

So you literally had a flood of free comicbooks, sketching, beer, chats, handshakes, friends and fun all within a block... I swear, i haven't had this much relaxed fun in a long time. I had my camera on me, and just snapped away at the afternoon.

As usual, a big line of comic freeloaders fans in front of All Star Comics.
