Ok, Im in the homestretch, & I know i winged about this a while ago, but im struggling with the colour scheme for the cover just a little. I've redrawn & inked the original because, well, I didn't like the inking in certain parts.

Anyway... these 2 covers are the final contenders.

I like #2, but I can't begin to justify it. The blue is just a bit more appealing to me, I dunno.

Thanks Jase, though I'd adjust my monitor if I were you... it's 'green'. :)

i like #2 too. specifically for the green.

I'm a sucker for muted tones...so number one appeals to me. But i'd probably brighten it a little. Maybe a bit warmer to echo the orange in the issue number.

The green is too cold and i think overpowers the foreground a little too much. If you were going to go for it i'd change the orange in your issue number to a similar bluey green.

Nice cover!

Well observed Douglas. I did in fact colour the first one, then simply droped the 'green' into the second version - so yes - if I go with the green, I'll definitely change the orange in the title.

hey bobby, i, like douglas, am a sucker for muted tones, and therefore love cover 1. I also feel this colour scheme is more suited to your linework

Well Brendan, I coloured the cover using the brown first of all... and only quickly played with the green one as an after thought - so the brown has the most thinking put through it.

I must admit, I'm leaning more toward the brown one too. We'll see.

The muted tones of #1 gets my vote, sir. This just seems to complement the flesh tones of the protagonist nicely, whereas the green contrasts nicely but, for me, jars slightly...
